What the app does

Modifier Pricing lets you put a price on the options and add-ons in your store — engraving, a gift message, gift wrap, a rush upgrade and similar extras — and apply them across your products.

Two things happen when you use it:

• We create and edit customizations in your own store catalogue, and attach them to the products you choose. That data belongs to you and stays in your catalogue.
• We run a service that calculates the surcharge when a shopper views their cart or checks out. Your store asks our service what the extras cost, and adds the amount to the order.

The app does not replace your Add to Cart button and does not take over your checkout.

Your account and eligibility

You need a Wix site with Wix Stores installed. You must be the site owner or a contributor authorised to install apps and change the catalogue. You are responsible for anything done through your site's account.

Prices you set, and your responsibility for them

You decide every amount the app charges. We do not set, review or approve your prices. You are responsible for:

• displaying prices correctly and lawfully to your shoppers,
• charging the right tax on the extras you sell,
• meeting the consumer law that applies where your shoppers are,
• honouring what you sell — if a shopper pays for engraving, you engrave it.

Tax on a surcharge is calculated by your store's own tax settings, not by us.

An important limitation — please read this one

Your store asks our service for the surcharge and waits a short time for an answer. This is how the platform works, and it is not something we control.

If our service is slow or unavailable, your store completes the order without the surcharge. The sale still goes through and your shopper is not blocked — but the extra is not charged, and no error is shown to you or to them.

We build the app to fail this way on purpose: we would rather you lose a surcharge than lose a sale. But it means you should check your orders periodically to confirm the extras are being charged as you expect. We are not liable for surcharges that were not applied because our service was unreachable.

Plans and payment

The app has a free plan and a paid plan. All billing is handled by the Wix App Market — you pay Wix, under Wix's terms, and Wix pays us. We never see or store your card details.

Charging your shoppers for add-ons is available on every plan, including the free one. Paid plans lift limits on how many add-ons you can create and how many products you can change at once. We do not switch off your surcharges if your payment fails.

We may change prices or what each plan includes. We will tell you before a change affects you, and you can cancel through Wix.

Bulk changes to your catalogue

The app can change many products at once. Before any bulk change runs, the app shows you how many products it will affect. Please read that number.

You are responsible for the changes you confirm. We keep a record of bulk runs so you can see what happened, but you should treat a large change as you would any other change to your live store.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the app to charge shoppers for something you do not intend to provide,
• attempt to bypass plan limits, or interfere with our service or other users,
• reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app,
• use it for anything unlawful.

We may suspend an installation that breaks these rules or that threatens the stability of the service.

If you uninstall

You can uninstall at any time from your Wix dashboard. Your billing ends according to Wix's terms.

The options and add-ons the app created stay in your catalogue, because they are ordinary catalogue data and they belong to you. What stops is the surcharge — with the app gone, nothing calculates the extra, so orders will be charged at the plain product price. If you no longer want the fields to appear, remove them from your products in your store dashboard.

Service, changes and availability

We work to keep the app available and correct, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. We may change, add or remove features. Where a change materially reduces what you get, we will give reasonable notice.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or lost revenue — including surcharges that were not applied for any reason.

Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of [CITY / STATE] have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer somewhere with stronger mandatory protections, those protections still apply to you.
